Benefits For Schools

Beneftis for Schools, Inc. was founded in 2001 by Sandra Tolman, a parent, former Special Education teacher for 25 years, and a Certified Financial Planner.
Because of her love of teaching, and her concern that students of all ages receive a quality education, Sandra designed Benefits For Schools, Inc. to help counter the shortage of educational equipment, materials, and programs in the public schools.

Sandra Tolman, is a native of Albuquerque, New Mexico, and a mother of two sons attending universities in Tennessee. She is a 25 year veteran educator, and is currently using her past experience as a teacher to develop safe, and easy ways for schools to raise money. Her goal is to put the FUN back into FUNdraising.

Sandra has a certificate in Special Education and served as a Special Education Resource Teacher for 6 years. She then taught in a public school clinic for the severest dyslexic children in Albuquerque, New Mexico for 19 years. Her credentials include a BA in Elementary and Special Education from Adams State College in Alamosa, Colorado, a MA in Special Education from the University of New Mexico, a MBA from the University of Phoenix, and her Certified Financial Planners designation from the College of Financial Planning in Denver, Colorado.

She moved to Las Vegas in June of 1993 with her husband, Frank, and is currently involved in the two fields which she loves: public education and helping students raise money for their schools.
